Never Have I Ever(Netflix Original Series)(This was such a lovely show! Heartfelt and cute and funny all at once. I'll miss the characters and it ended right at the right place.)

The Other Two(While I'm sad this was canceled, it also ended perfectly and going on beyond this might not have maintained quality. So all in all, happy with what was there!)
Derry Girls (Started 4/30/23, Finished 7/22/23)(This was honestly so lovely. The characters were fantastic, the stories poignant and funny, and the historical background of it all very informative and kind of cool. Loved it.)
Queen Charlotte (Netflix Original Series)(This was SO good. I wish it wasn't a limited series, heh. I want to keep following their story! Glad we finally saw George in current day. I hope they do more limited series like this!)
How I Met Your Father(REALLY bummed this was canceled. It was so charming!)
Boy Meets World (Started 3/6/2023, Finished 8/29/2023)(This was at times really cute and fun and at many many other times pretty bad! Cory Matthews is terrible, ha. If it had been the Shawn Hunter show, it would have been much better. And possibly Ben Savage just isn't a very good actor, heh.)

Everything Everywhere All At Once (1/8/23)(This was WILD AS HELL. Creative. Unique. The more I think about it, the more I like it. You gotta be prepared to go along for the ride, though!)
Belfast(1/21/23)(This was a really lovely movie, but not at all light and funny as I thought it was supposed to be! Fairly intense with some adorable bits in there, as well.)
Don't Look Up(1/22/23)(I enjoyed this MUCH more than I expected. Most I have enjoyed Leonardo DiCaprio in years and years.)
Licorice Pizza (1/24/23 & 1/26/23)(Watched this in two parts. Enjoyed it exactly as much as I expected, which means not hardly at all. It was wild as hell. Very weird. Nonsensical. Gross sexual tension and nonsense between a 15 year old boy and a 25 year old woman. Still not my least favor 2022 Best Picture Nominee, though! And now I'm done with that!)
Top Gun: Maverick (1/27/23)(I really really enjoyed this. A great job balancing new and old, nostalgia and excitement. Maybe a smidge heavy handed about Goose, but I suppose Goose's death was a lot of men's first emotion.)
First Wives' Club(2/19/23)(Re-Watch)(I adore this movie so much. A fave.)
Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania (2/20/23)(This was very fun, and felt like the first of this phase to REALLY get us going in the new "big bad" direction. Exciting!)
The Fabelmans (2/25/23)(This was about an hour too long and thus kind of ruined? Like it could have been very solid, but it just dragged on and on. Alas.)
Guillermo del Toro's Pinnochio(2/26/23)(This, on the other hand, was excellent. Added really cool stuff to the Disney classic and all in all was just very solid.)
Tar(2/28/23)(I REALLY enjoyed this one. It was a slow burn, but just so well done. Cate Blanchett was incredible. I wish she had done this role in a year Michelle Yeoh hadn't done what she did. Alas.)

Women Talking(3/7/23)(I had no real expectations going into this, and it turned out to be my favorite of the Best Picture noms so far. Incredibly magnetic performances, excellent story, ultimately hopeful/triumphant. All I could want.)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Extended Edition)(Re-Watch)(4/19/23)(I have seen this so many times but this time I saw it in a movie theater and wow that was just so magical. =D)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer(Re-Watch)(4/28/23)(Love this, hadn't seen it in forever, and I watched it with my besties. Perfect.)
Mannequin(4/28/23)(I had never seen this one from the 80s and I actually really enjoyed it! Fun, silly, mostly not horrifically offensive in 2023 haha.)

Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3(5/20/23)(While this had the heart and humor the Guardians movies always do, the animal abuse/torture was almost too much to make it worth watching. Yes, an integral part of the story.... and so incredibly painful.)
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark(5/21/23)(Re-Watch)(Starting to prep for the new Indy installment next month! I haven't seen this in YEARS. It was solid. SO much action, so little dialogue haha. Not enough humor, too many snakes. (Why'd it have to be snakes?))
Book Club: The Next Chapter (5/24/23)(This was sweet and cute and lovely and predictable (mostly) and fun. Excellent GNO on a Wednesday night!)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom(6/3/23)(Re-Watch)(This wasn't great but at least this time didn't give me nightmares, heh.)
The Little Mermaid (2023)(6/10/23)(I really enjoyed this live-action remake over all! Beautifully done, some solid changes, a couple of misses.)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade(6/11/23)(Re-Watch)(My forever fave. Love this one so much.)
Shotgun Wedding(6/25/23)(Perfect plane movie. Fun, light, silly).
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull(7/9/23)(Re-Watch)(I had only seen this one other time and remembered nothing of it. I'm so glad cause it was really fun and the end was WILD AS HELL. The end brought the score down, for sure, but if you lean in to the bananas of it, it stays fun.)
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny(7/16/23)(This was really fun and a great last outing for Harrison Ford- and maybe for Indy at all. It was a little too long, but that's just movies these days, heh.)
Mission: Impossible-3(7/23/23)(This was fun! The franchise went back to knowing it's supposed to be fun and not taking itself too seriously. Also fun to watch with Carrie!)
A Tourist's Guide to Love(7/24/23)(Cute- nothing groundbreaking or even that I'll probably re-watch, but very cute. The setting was beautiful.)
Barbie(7/25/23)(This was very fun, very good, and a new feminist manifesto. Lots of great messages and good lessons to learn.)
